Quick And Painless...

...would definitely not be a phrase used to discuss my stay in the hospital thus far, but it describes this post pretty accurately: my chest CAT scan came up clear this morning so we're good to go for a Monday surgery, assuming there are no last-minute developments in scheduling or medical issues. If something arises, we'll get switched again, but it's looking hopeful.

This will probably be my last blog post before surgery, so please keep all the prayers, love and positive thoughts focused in my direction tomorrow, and my dad will update the blog once I'm off the table and into Intensive Care.

My love to all of you. We're gonna get this thing gone!

Dino

Thanks for keeping all of us updated. It's wonderful to have a constant connection with you! You know everyone will be continuing to send positive vibes and prayers to you all day tomorrow (or whenever the surgery happens) & are just waiting to give you a big hug when it's over!

D...You're a supa'star! You're becoming so well versed in medical terminology - you could be on Gray's Anatomy once you get over the speed bump that seems to be in your path right now. Thank you for putting it all in terms we can unerstand, digest, and get our heads around what you have. Not an easy task. I know you have learned more than you ever wanted to know about the myriad of topics you write about so eloquently: sperm banking, CT scans, insurance, sarcoma, etc. You and this blog embody everything that the Lance Armstrong Foundation is about. I am proud of you for rallying this solid community together. Lance's foudnation believes:

UNITY IS STRENGTH, KNOWLEDGE IS POWER, AND ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING.

Live Strong, D! :) amy x x x

Again, your strength gives me strength to give you strength. Does that make sense? Who cares.

My prayers, love, and contemplation are with you Dino. You are an inspiration, and I expect that you will be into the distant future.

I look forward to hearing from you later in the week.

Dino,

Tons of positive thoughts and energy coming your way. Scoop it all up and fashion it into a +5 blade of Kuato slaying. Good luck today!
