Wasn't yesterday the best? For those of you who couldn't make it to our Day with Dino, we, all of us, soaked up every bit of our favorite son, brother and friend. And to all who were there, your presence carried us through what, for maybe another family, may have been a real tide of grief.
Instead, the opportunity to meet and touch and talk with all of you left us with the best of memories, and I know our boy was truly pleased with an event so rightfully in his honor.
I've been responding to a few e-mails today - obviously I'm taking it easy, but I wanted to mention something that's brewing amongst us family members. It feels like there may be more to Dino's Journey - I really don't know exactly what, but it seems like there's something else hanging out there - some kind of very focused intention. Stay in touch with me, would you, particularly if you've got some ideas.
As always, all our love to you.//Dick, Mary, MiMi, Nick & Amber, Chris & Virginia and Theresa and family

It was indeed a wonderful celebration of Dino's life. I'm glad I could be a part of the day and of Dino's life.
I just have to say, that reading Dino's blog and listening to Dick on KSCO Saturday shows what an amazing family Dino has. I wish there were more folks that cared as much as all of you do in the world. As parents, all I can say is you rock!
Amazing. Thank you!
For all the heartache that comes along with cancer, there are many blessings too.
I'm so grateful and so honored to call Dino my friend. I'm grateful for the "Day with Dino" and this blog because it has given and will continue to give us all an opportunity to know him and you better.
In the meantime, I'm wishing you small victories, simple pleasures and fond memories to help you through the days ahead.

Yesterday was truly a perfect rememberence of Dino. I was thankful to be a part of it, and to get to talk to so many of Dino's friends and family. I was able to listen to the radio tribute last night and enjoyed it and could listen to you all the time Dick, I think you might have a new career. Thank you thank you thank you!
Sunday was one of the most fulfilling days that I have ever spent. It was a day to laugh, cry, cringe, and squeeze my temples in my thumbs.
Dino as always incredible at bringing a disparate gang of baseball guys together, and yesterday he did so again.
While I did not speak, I thought. I thought and communicated my thoughts to a higher being. It was a great experience.
What Dino meant in life, he also means now. An inspiration to seek out what one wants to do, whether popular or not, hold true. Man, it will take some time. I was there. Dino's spirit fills me, but getting beyond standard operating procedures is tough. I am inspired.
Dino, you are ALWAYS in my thoughts and prayers.

Yesterday was a wonderful tribute to Dino and to a young man who lived life to the fullest, embraced it with awe and never ever forgot his family and friends. His postive attitude and zest for life should be remembered by all of us whenever we let things get us down. He was truly an inspiration and will never be forgotten.
May the days ahead bring you peace and comfort.
Thank you for letting us be part of Dinos Journey

The experience of bringing together the memories, love and impact that Dino has had on so many people from different walks of life was truly beautiful. I am so thankful to Dino and his family for inviting us all to take this journey with them. I look forward to continuing this journey and keeping in touch with so many important people in his life. May his light and amazing spirit live on in all of us. Love to you all!

I'm not sure there could have been a better, more fitting tribute for Dino's life. Short of Coldplay coming in to play a concert and performing Viva La Vida live...it was nothing short of perfect. Is it weird to say that I enjoyed it? I'm looking forward to let Dino's memory live on in whatever we do next....... Dick? No pressure! :)

I wish I could have been at the Memorial. I saw Dino perform with Mirror Image many times and read his wonderful blogs--I felt like I knew him and wish I had the chance to know him better than I did. I am deeply honored that my photo of him turned out to be one of the family favorites and was used in his obit. His story touched my heart, and the outpouring of love of his family and friends continues to inspire me.
